has anyone got the dimensions of the dome part, it must be able to be manufactured here if demand exists.  I tried to make a box but did not seal well enough to work .

inspired by the eternity weave, I watched the video, and here's my first go. but did not get weave 100%.
Graham I know what you mean by inserting a round balloon, I think that will give wrong shape for dress, I am going to try a 646, or 350's, on my next one I make. I do not have the right colour for this one.

Competitions / Re: 321 Competition
December 21, 2014, 01:27:32 PM
I made this at  Robbie Furman's  visit to Glasgow. which was a great day. Robbie set a challenge to use 321's.
in this model 321's make the rim, think it was 10 used in total. I call it "ladybug on a lamp".
Graham, we all have same chance of winning but if I was luck, I have the DVD already. hope all enjoy model.

Hi Ryian,
Ok I am miles away, just wondering is it a cinema chain or a promotional company that asked you, if a cinema, might be a channel for me to approach, ok as said not good pay, but if early and local to another job, might be worth a punt. not heard of this before.
thanks.

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: Twister of the year?
October 18, 2013, 07:13:48 PM
Graham and balloon chat freinds, sorry ive not been around for a while.
just been catching up ,and love this post, re- stage performance, i have been doing  some kids entertaining, every sat for a few weeks, this is mainly in a way of team challenges, using balloons more than standing making balloons. i tried the link you gave graham but didnt get it.
also i have been working on a balloon puppet ( glove puppet style), and have the info on the mouth workings, ready to post, just need to sort out the head instructions , to be honest it will look familiar and i am not claiming it as purely mine.. so this might help any one wanting to do a show...
i like the idea we sent you pictures/video, as like most would prob not be able to attend.

celebrate with a twist

Hi, MichiXx
if your looking for a local supplier, go to hiflyers, govan., great stock, will also sell single balloons for those odd jobs, good if youve not got a big budget, and always got displays / advice to help you. Of course you can order from graham, see link at top of page..
as Graham said, look up Qualatex training,  courses normally held in the Adephi centre, glasgow..

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: Speed of work
July 04, 2013, 08:47:37 PM
when I get ask about a party/event booking, I advice if more than 15 children , to book me for 2 hours , that way I can make a balloon model for everyone ( avg 4 mins each, inc interacting with kids ), and have a menu to stick too.
I feel it important, and enjoy events where I can interact with the kids , and not just be a balloon factory.. as an entertainer.

I agree though, when on the street, and you suddenly get a Que , speed up..!!, I have seen some walk away than wait. I try to engage with all so they know I have seen them. a simple smile and say will be with you as quick as I can . lets them feel valued and not ignored.
