Hello Graham. Can you provide a link to the post about using plastic bags to wrap your balloon stock in your bag? Thanks in advance.

Balloon Tutorial & Help / Re: Giraffe Tutorial (3)

Also, once you have a little more experience, add a mocha 160. Twist a 1.5cm bubble followed by two one cm bubbles and a matching 1.5 cm bubble lock them together by wrapping the nozzle round and pushing it through between the bubbles. Twist these bubbles around the ears of the giraffe and then start twisting a long string or 1cm round bubbles from the back of its head down its neck to the join where the neck meets the front legs. Make just enough bubbles to reach that joint and then wrap the 160 around the join. Squeeze the air out as you wrap the remainder around your fingers, snap or cut off the end and tie it securely. Cut off any excess.

Just hate crystal colours. They stick to themselves so much and pop at the least thing. Still, have to use them for bling now and again.

Balloon Tutorial & Help / Re: Sempertex balloons
October 25, 2013, 05:18:26 PM
I greatly prefer the Sempertex balloons now as the colours and extra length are a big advantage. Can't say that I've found them any different in terms of feel or difficulty in twisting. I've had very bad experiences with poppage using Qualatex balloons too and had some really weird balloons in a bag that I couldn't use. I've yet to find a totally warped balloon in a Sempertex package. The 360s seem great to be honest, no trouble with them at all.

These people do one day intensive courses all over the country, including Glasgow. They also do internet tutorials and seem to have a fairly thorough back up system in operation so you get plenty of support after you finish their course:

Love the little monsters but I've seen the witch's hat on YouTube, well, a variation on it. Looks very similar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMEqKvoGH50
I agree with you about the little ghost on the pumpkin. How about this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gydFz5phNgE
It's in Spanish but I just followed along and got a decent result, (I think).

Met him a couple of years ago at a convention in Yokohama. Lovely man. Nice interview, thank you.

I was unable to look at your website as my anti virus software blocked it as a threat! Do you use natural face paints? I tried to get my wife to start face painting as she is very artistic but she refused and said that the paints are far too toxic to be used on the skin of young children. I had a look around the internet and it seems that she is right, very few products DON'T contain dangerous chemicals.

Wow, she is very professional and obviously speaks fluent Japanese, while I am a rank amateur and can barely get by in daily life.

Welcome / Hi from Japan
September 02, 2012, 05:03:23 PM
Hello, just a quick note to introduce myself. I am a Scot from Glasgow living in Japan. I have been twisting for a couple of years now but don't seem to be progressing much these days as my new job takes up far too much time and I've lost the incentive to try and make this a business venture. You can see some of my videos at: http://www.youtube.com/user/BalloonCrea ... ture=watch
I am also a member at balloon-animals so some of you are familiar to me. This looks like a great site and I hope to get a lot out of it.
Slainte.
