Picture Gallery / Re: Roman Reigns

I don't know that I do, I remember being very pleased with them at the time but since I've changed them these ones have sort of fallen by the wayside. However the ones on here are easy to explain, though now a couple of designs out of date if that makes sense. below are a couple of photos that may make it a little easier to see.

Picture Gallery / Roman Reigns

Just recently I've been asked to come up with some very strange balloons for some of the birthday parties we have attended. One of the strangest requests was for this American wrestler Roman Reigns. Though the basic design came from Ken Stillman's (Superheroes) there has been quite a few adaptions made, which I feel have improved the basic structure. How many can you spot? I've been playing with feet recently and was actually quite pleased with these shoes on this model. However I kept playing with different designs until last week when I think I've finally what I was looking for in a shoe, which I hopefully intend to use for a long time to come.

It can be a dodgy question to answer I tend to explain to people as you've already said that most previous customers have reported back quite a long life. some have even said around six weeks! Mostly I tell people that if they keep it out of the sunlight, away from a radiator and display it as a piece of art or an ornament, then it should last them two to three weeks. However if they attack it with a fork it's unlikely to see the better side of two to three minutes.  :D  I have also told people in the past that the cooler and darker they can keep the balloon the better, so if they were to take it and stick it in the freezer, not touch it and don't even open the door, then it will still be there  in six months. However I don't think any of my customers have done this yet, at least not that they have told me about.

Wow... so many wonderful pictures here I was walking around all weekend with my camera and once back and after counting seemed to have taken nearly 1000 but you've managed to catch so many things that I don't remember seeing :o Thank you so much for posting them I've just spent the last half hour looking through and remembering.

Here's my go. I have to admit that not having been around recently, I didn't know that the step by step directions were put up by Graham, so I just made mine from the picture on the front of the very helpfully supplied pack with my last order. It was made slightly different to the directions given but the outcome is fairy close (Do you see what i did there? ;) )

I have to slightly agree with Rob on this one. I don't carry balloons with me unless they are required on the job that I'm going to (with the exception of jams). There are 2 main reasons for this :- The first being that I can't mouth inflate (Therefore I would also have to carry a pump with me too). The second is that when I'm not working, I don't really like to work if that makes sense.
I do know of people who always carry balloons, but even so these are predominately for them to practice with rather than just hand out.

Events. Balloon, Magic, Etc / Re: The Millennium Jam 2015

The balloons inside the maze (somehow that just doesn't do them justice). The works of of art inside were absolutely stunning and with the sheer size of the maze it made for quite a fun time wandering this way and that always on the hunt for the next piece. The picture of the maze I think from memory is about half the size of the entire thing. It was just Massive
I've managed to leave one of the sculptures out of the pictures, just as a little bit of fun can anyone guess / remember which one it is?

What A fantastic week away, so much to see...Everywhere you looked there were balloon figures, either being created or just sitting around minding their own business. I managed to take just under 900 pictures but as normal whenever I am let loose with a camera, most just haven't come out :-(. It's taken me this long to really sit down and write this. So it may take a while to get some pictures up but I'm going to give it a go anyway. I met up with Danny halfway through the first day and as he had been there a couple of days already, he gave a guided tour of the complex. We then decided to take a wander around the maze, which was truly stunning. After many wrong turns and meeting people almost as lost as we were, we managed to find the hidden rooms, with all the fantastic sculptures made from...Yes that's right balloons.

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: 260 Neons
October 05, 2015, 10:32:47 PM
I love using the neon colours though I have to admit to not buying them very regularly. It's a shame that they are only made in 260, as I feel that I'd use them a lot more if there were more sizes available. As to using them with black lights...Occasionally we have an older party 12-16 and they go for the UV option all these seem to show up well in these conditions though the room must be well lit with UV lights. We tend to use the ADJ ECO UV BAR when we do parties like this.
