I'm rubbish too, doesn't help that my wife is a facepainter and a half decent artist. I just keep my drawings to a bare minimum.

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: Mouth inflating...ouch!

I've been using a MacPump for most of my gigs, but very recently got hold of a Lagenda electric pump. You always get that one adult (usually male) asking why I don't mouth inflate. I usually toss them an un-inflated balloon and tell them to give it a try, not seen any of them succeed yet. I can mouth inflate one but why put yourself through that a few 100 times per event?

I like the design and following the guide was fine. When I got to the end I found my head band was a bit on the small size and it did take a bit of messing with to get it looking right. I just wonder how well it’ll look after half hour in a kids hands.

Going to make a few more though and see how the come out.

I often switch colours om request for any of my designs, blue and pink penguin? yep, no problem. I sort of get that they might only have blush 6" q-links but in certain situations you just have to improvise with what you have.

I've seen Barrington at work, the guy is like a Duracell Bunny, he never switches off. Very talented.

Nice tutorial but I think he needs to drop the 5 dollar from the title. In my opinion it devalues what an artist does, the cost of a column to a customer comprises of more than materials alone.

If you stretch/pull the metallic through your finger and thumb it will act like an ordinary
260 balloon then and makes it much easier to work with.

Thanks I'll give that a try.
