Title: Balloon sports car
Post by: junkos on October 20, 2012, 11:21:25 AM
Hi
Has anyone done a large balloon sport car scuplture.  I can't seem to find any examples of any on the web.  Will have to wing it from my sons hotwheel cars models... Anyone done one here.  Much appreciated with any tips.
Ta June

Thelma did a Pink cadi that looked a little like the Lady Penelope Thunderbird car, I think it's posted here some where.

Maybe I should invest in some dvd for the future.  Do you recommend D Grist ones?  I like to do large sculptures but not the massive ones.  Which is the website for you.  Ta

Thanks Graham.  Will definitely be getting some instructions for big sculptures.  I did in the meantime attempt a car and this is the best I can do for now.  Hope the client likes it.  My son does.

Thanks Sonia.  Took me soooo long. Probably a good 3 hours as I was trying to work out the weave.  I started the night before till late and then got up early in the morning to finish off.  Its hard to put something down once you start it.

Not a sports car, but an idea of a wearable vehicle.... my son wanted to be a garbage truck for community helper day.

I had to work for a parking lot company so a car would be suitable:
