Hi,
Can anyone point me in the right direction of sourcing helium for decor etc?
I have know idea on what is a good price and what exactly i am looking for!!
Actullly id ont even know how you cost hoee many balloons you get out of a tank etc.
If you can help me out please let me know!!

Try your local wholesaler
If you are only looking for one tank they are usually the best prices..
then depending on what company tanks you buy depends on numbers from tank as Air products tanks are alluminion they hold nearly twice as much gas a BOC and are lighter to lift.. But it all depends wher eyou are as to who your local supplier is..
If you go direct to BOc or Air products they will charge you a very high price as they sell on volume sales..
how many balloons per tank is on the websites

Has this changed at all?
I don't know what is in the USA or in GB, and this price is high or low, but here in Hungary a 40L / 6QM tank of He 4.6 (>= 99,996%) is around US$230 / GBP150 from Messer, and Linde.
I am agree with Pam Pearce suggestion.. Try your local wholesaler. And Try Helium Tank Canister to fill 50 x 9" balloons. It can be disposed of safely at recycling. May be in UK It's price are not more than £25.45
I'm lucky to have a helium wholesaler just a few miles from me. but they answer all my questions about float time tank size, etc.
