WOW, Love it, really colourful and eye catching, looks a great 'fun' site offering a 'fun' service.

Makes me feel like re-doing mine now.

Hi fuzzy,

generally I  really liked it - a great site, colourful and clear.

two things bother me, first - no photo page
second - the order of the pages. Do you do loads of weddings? or want to? Why is that first?

third thing! - on the safety page I thought it was about how safe you are and that you have PLI and CRB checks. Maybe thats just me!

but otherwise - its great!

cheers

Glad you like it.

I look at it from a prospects view do they want to see loads of pictures on how good I look or information on what is available for their event.

When a new prospect phones up the first question they usually ask is how much.
This website is designed to give them the answers they want with a bit more information as well.

Regards the order of pages I do not think this is important a prospect that is having a wedding will find that page first as will somebody looking for birthday party.

third thing! - on the safety page I thought it was about how safe you are and that you have PLI and CRB checks.

All this is covered when the prospect shows an interest in my services.

Thanks you both for your input.

I only had a quick view but the thing that caught my eye was the negative advertising on the wedding page when it came up with the sad/troulbesome children.
I think it's better to concentrate on the positive that you will bring to the event & not what might happen if they dont book you.
Don't forget this is IMHO & we all think differently :D

Hi, i thought the wedding photos of grumpy kids were excellent, weve all heard our kids say the same, as a mother i could really empathise, however im not in business yet and Graham is a real professional so dont take my opinion too seriously.

On the browser bar at the top of the home page, nurseries is misspelt, it says nursuries.
I havent looked through properly but it is spelt correctly in the places i did look at.

lovely colours and loaded quickly, would like to see a gallery

Good point you make about the negative side of wedding.

As we all know this happens at weddings, by pointing this out I am giving them a solution.

When the flash ends there is only positive content left.

Mandy

Thanks you for pointing out the typo.

Regards a gallery.

Need to research if there is any benefit in one...

So I have a gallery with pictures from Weddings, Christmas, Christenings, Safety, Workshops Etc.

Prospect is having a wedding and sees all the other stuff and gets confused sees me as just another "All functions catered for Bloke"

This is how I see it, am I wrong?

I don't think the 'all occasions bloke' is a handicap - they can see that anyway from the headings on the home page - the nice thing about a gallery is that it gives a flavour of what is possible, looking at other twisters sites they all have a gallery and it doesn't appear to have any adverse effect on their business

I think a gallery shows you as a professional working entertainer and not just a hobbiest. You see on many websites, there are just pictures of someone 'posing' for the camera. This says nothing, anyone can pose for a photo. It would be like looking to book a holiday but not seeing any pics of your beach/accomadation etc.

Regards your wedding page, I loved those photos of the unhappy kids, I thought was a great idea and original as well, I haven't seen it before. Do you mind if I were to add something like that on my site in the future Fuzzy.

When I scroll down the page and come to the line that says to click on the link, the list of links is too high up to be on the screen.  I really didn't notice them when I opened the page because my eye went right to the most colorful part of the page.

Yes feel free to create you own for your site.  I have a paper article saying children are cordially uninvited (at weddings), which is where I got the idea from.

Let me know if want a copy.

Jake

Good point....Thanks.
